Kids

You just gotta love kids. Munchkin is sitting on the floor playing memory with her set of cards. Every time she gets a match she jumps and runs in circles around the cards going, woohoo woohooo!

Why can't we take that into life with us later? Get up and run around the cubicle going woohoo because you got the TPS reports done early or something.

HazMat Suit.....Check

You ever let something in the refrigerator go past its prime? Sure! It happens, we all do. But what happens when you take it out of the fridge to deal with and then forget to deal with it for a day or two.

Yeah.

Then it's all, holy fuck!! Look at it now!! Who gave it a radiation bath and mutated it? Now you're actually kind of scared of it. It's alive now and you really don't want to go near it. It might have some strange sense of awareness and protect itself. I really don't want to test its fight or flight reflex.

Days later, now you are kinda entranced by it. Perhaps it has mind control and that is keeping it alive. Jedi Mold Tricks. This is not the tupperware you are looking for.

Now it's a game of chicken, waiting for it to explode in some biohazard disaster, all the while, You take care of it...No you do it!...nu-uh, open that up and Homeland Security will be up my ass sideways screaming WMD!!

Maybe I'll just chuck the whole damn thing. How hard is it to replace some flippin Rubbermade.

Time Keeps on Ticking,Ticking, Ticking....

...but not into the future. Just sitting there.

It is only noon and I feel like I have been through an entire day already. Not that I am bored, or anything bad has happened, just time is craaaaaaawling on its hands and knees for some reason.

Well, I dunno if it counts as bad but apparently Little's ass exploded this morning. Seriously, from what I had to clean up, I'm surprised I didn't hear a Huggies muffled detonation or the tell tale wisps of a mushroom cloud creeping out from little elastic bands.

Well, I'll assuage my morning woes with a kick ass sammitch of leftover Easter ham stacked with leftover fried chicken tenders. And an ice cold Pepsi. Mmmmmmmmm. Caffeine.

Easter-ness Fun

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter or the like. We had a pretty fabulous one.

Munchkin woke up and discovered her basket and came flying back into our room all pumped about the Bunny visit. Little really could have given a damn about her basket. Took an plastic egg out and proceded munching. So, everyone happy there.

Went out to my sisters for late lunch and we did an egg hunt for all the kids. They had a blast. Since it was windy we gave kiting a try but ya know, when you get 2 for a buck at the dollar store, you get what you pay for. Between the quality kites and the eddies off the house, they kept nose diving into the ground. The kids quickly lost interest and ran off and amused themselves in the clubhouse while the men tried to make the kites work.

All in all, a good time had by all. Hope to get some pictures up of some the of chocolate Easter eggs I made soon.
