What's Going On Roundup
My life is kinda benign. I live in happy domesticity and nothing exciting really happens. Of course, Little does her best to change that.
Saturday night over at my parents for dinner, Shannon and I inside prepping, and Little and Munchkin are outside with the grandparents. We here a big splash in the pool amd we both look out, wtf? I couldn't see, but Shannon's sharp intake of breath and running for the door was all I needed to see and was right behind her.
Little apprently was trying to get water out of the pool witha bucket and fell in. Dad dove in after her, our hero. Apparently she only went under when she first fell in, but otherwise was keeping herself afloat. Eeeesh.
Munchkin is kicking ass at school. She does so good reading now, and I am so proud of her. I really need to tell her that more instead of being mad at the annoying stuff she does. She is getting so tall and more beautiful by the day.
Looks like I am going to be getting shoulder surgery. My bid to become a cyborg is slowly coming to fruition. In addition to two fake hips, I'll have a fake shoulder too now. Wheeeee. Now let me see. Is it buy 3 get 1 free? I'll have to check.
In other news, I'm getting a lap top finally!! Woohoo!! Getting a hand me down, but liek I care. Need to set up some wireless, and then I am going to be non-productive from the couch, or even bed. Killing brain cells in comfort. Ahhhh.
