Quarterly Report

Christ on a crutch, how the hell do I keep going a month between posts. Someone needs to give me a kick, because I have no idea where the time goes.

Not much going on. Had an impromptu visit back to the OK when Shannon's grandfather passed away. We decided we would all go out, and the kids definitely helped brighten an otherwise somber time. Of course flying with the kids was a major test of patience but overall they did great. Of course we drugged Little with the Benadryl and that was a huge help. But no amount of Benadryl is going to help you deal with a three hour layover in Denver. So lots of walks and riding on the tramways while giggling manically.

Of course Munchkin did her part to make things interesting. My two favorite examples being thus. While flying into Denver we were navigating around some serious thunder clouds, replete with rain coming down and lightning. It really was scary/beautiful to watch. Munchkin asked me what happens when lightning hits the plane and before I could answer, she goes on with her answer. I bet we do down huh, complete with using her hand as an example, splatting into her leg. Awesome, why don't you say that a little louder honey. Hahahhaaa. And then on the way back, we were sititng over the wing, with the engine right there. She sits down and then turns to me and asks, is that a bomb? Oh dear Lord.

My free time has been spent on on Guitar Hero for the most part. But sadly I am not good enough to advance any further. That kinda sucks, paying 40 bucks for a game and can't even access two levels worth of game. Maybe I'll get into Hard eventually. I never thought I'd be able to do Medium but I am starting to 5 star some of those songs, so who knows. I'll wait for prices to come down before getting the first one and the 80s edition. Especially since I'll never be able to finish them.

Is it wrong for me to be enjoying a carmel machiatto right after the Dr tells me they want to check me for high cholesterol? Hmmm.

And I leave you with some pictures.

I guess neither one of us updates very often... but I still enjoy your posts. And... the pictures! Your kids!!! I am always amazed whenever I see them (and sad, and scared, and... why can't they all just stay LITTLE???). But, I am so happy for you. Those kids are beautiful.
